A Letter to my Instructor
Professor Frazier:
I would like to start this letter by thanking you for such an excellent experience in this English class. I feel that this class has truly helped me to grow as writer as well as a reader and it is because of your clear and detailed instruction to guide me. The reason I decided to take this specific English class instead of the ENGL 1312 course is because I wanted to take a class that I could read different works of literature and be able to read them through a different interpretation rather than the basic "break every thing down brick by brick" in search of only one right answer. That being said, I feel that this growth and the fact that I have been able to keep up with the multitude of assignments and do fairly well on those assignments has earned me the grade of an A.
When it comes to my ability to keep up with the many reading assignments and the readings that came with them, I feel that I completed these assignments in a timely manner. I also would like to add that when it came to the major assignments for this class (Genre Analysis, Annotated Bibliography, etc.) I feel that I was able to take the critiques given to me by my peers, and by you as well, and apply them to my final drafts in a way that improved the assignments as they should have been. I am not saying that my work is perfect, (I mean really, whose is?), but it has grown, and that is what this course is about, is it not?
Once again, I thank you for being an excellent instructor to our class this semester.
Sincerely,
Ashleigh Yvonne Curry
